The red light will turn on to indicate that a battery has been inserted and leave to charge for the recommended time. There is no indicator to state when the battery is fully charged. QUICK RECHARGE: Recharge your batteries to their full capacity quickly and safely. The charging rate for AA is 1.2v DC 200mA, for AAA is 1.2v DC 200mA, and for 9v (PP3) is DC 20mA.
