If a lower capacity card is used, certain features will potentially not function properly, which can lead to issues such as freezing and missing footage.
• FORMAT FOR BEST PERFORMANCE: The Nextbase dash cam micro SD card should be formatted every 2-3 weeks to prolong its life and ensure your dashcam continues to loop record and run smoothly. This can be easily done via the dash cam menu settings. Without regular formatting and a compatible SD card, the card could become corrupted which would cause a failure of data writing.
