Amrut also uses peated barley sourced from Scottish malthouses which gives the smoky and citrusy flavours FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED - Amrut was set up in 1948 and is still owned by the Jagdale family. They were the first Indian distillery to release single malt and they continue to make whisky that can rival that of Scotland
